Our story

Hope, humanity and a pledge to serve

PRUNN Social Foundation was born from a group of corporate professionals who wished to mark a change and contribute to society. The name is a meaning: a pledge to stand with people who are left out of education, healthcare and basic needs.

We plan carefully, then go to villages, slums and streets. Camps, classes and conversations are how the work actually happens.

  • Education and awareness, so people can reach their rights and government schemes.
  • Healthcare outreach that meets families where they live.
  • Basic livelihood support, so growth can last.

PRUNN is not just a name — it is a meaning. A movement built on collective compassion.

Who we are

A meaning, not only a name

We believe in the power of collective compassion. Through dedicated efforts we support vulnerable communities with education, healthcare and basic needs.

Looking at India’s literacy landscape — where a large share of the population remains illiterate, a number larger than the total population of more than 200 countries — a group of corporate professionals felt the gap in reaching the underprivileged. That motivation gave birth to the idea of PRUNN Social Foundation.

The office is at Nxone IT Park, T3 A-1908, Greater Noida. Planning happens there. The camps, classes and health visits happen in villages, slums and streets.

Mission & objective

What we exist to do

Education, health and basic needs stay together. The aim is a community that can stand on its own, and an organisation people can trust to do the work it describes.

Mission

To establish, nurture and grow the underprivileged section of society by supporting and taking care of their education, health and basic needs.

Objective

To become an organisation of repute and respect that aspires to contribute, change and add value to the lives of underprivileged society — who in turn can further contribute to nation building.

Pledge

We pledge to serve. Every programme is guided by empathy, dignity and community needs.

Values

What makes our impact strong

We approach every initiative with compassion, operate with transparency, and focus on sustainable impact.

Transparency

We operate with complete openness, clearly communicating our work and impact.

Compassion

Every programme is guided by empathy, dignity and community needs.

Sustainable impact

Our initiatives focus on long-term solutions that empower communities.

Working model

Planning behind, people in front

Our working model is efficiently and evenly distributed in frontend and backend. While our backend envisages planning and strategies, our frontend ensures that it is implemented effectively on the ground.

We have an entire setup of going to villages, slums and streets to reach out to people. We organise physical camps, engage people and ensure various education and health campaigns.

Identify community needs

Research, surveys and direct engagement to find real needs.

Plan & collaborate

Work with local leaders, volunteers and partner organisations.

Take action & measure

Implement on the ground and monitor results closely.
